Marley's Bio - South London Born Singer/songwriter, Marley J Wills saw the rise of Acid Music, Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Garage and Jungle, and was a regular on the dance scene from the beginning and naturally gravitated towards the mic, helping to form the Jungle Junkies, resulting in a permanent slot at the, Gas Club in London and appeared first legal Jungle radio station, Don.fm.Marley was spotted by Mecca Recordings performing one of his songs at the Colosseum Club in London and it wasn't long before he was a signed artist. Things were on the up until the recording company ran into financial difficulties and began to release their artists.Despite the collapse of Mecca Recordings Marley's work continued, not only in his song writing and vocal development but also, in-house vocal coaching, helping singers that attended studio sessions such as, Leona Lewis. which lead to Leona and Marley being asked to cover the hit classic, Loving You, and the beginning of 2000 saw the rebirth of, Loving You, performed by Leona Lewis and Marley J Wills.Having moved on from the pace of the dance scene Marley began to think more seriously about his sound and vocal style and formulated the unique sound, 'DaGroove', created by producer, Bigga Manifest and Marley J Wills.Marley & Bigga began co-writing and producing music that came from the heart, rather then be a carbon copy of the latest trend, creating a sound that derived from everything they grew up listening to. Out of this fusion of jazz, soul, hip hop, classical, rock, pop music, which influenced producer and artist, DaGroove was born.
